Little Bear lived all alone on a desert island. "I wish i had something to play with,"he said.
Astick came floating by.
Little Bear picture in the sand. Then he drew some more.
"I need something else to play with,"he said.
He was tired of drawing pictures.
A bottle came floating by.Little Bear picked it out of the sea.

小熊獨自一個人，好無聊，希望找些可玩的東西。于是他從海面上撈起了一些物品，不過仍覺得不滿意，心想若再有一個杯子那該多好。后來，水面漂來了一只會動的木馬，兩人很高興地交起朋友，一起玩躲貓貓，一起在沙灘上畫畫。玩著、玩著，海上又漂來許許多多的東西，小熊貪心地全撈了起來。由于東西實在太多了，他就嫌木馬朋友礙手礙腳的，隨即要他爬到最高的地方去，木馬一個站不穩，摔下大海中，然而小熊卻完全不自覺他的朋友不見了。后來小熊雖然找到了水杯，可是沒有木馬朋友來分享他的喜悅，哭著、哭著，木馬朋友又回來了，于是他才知道友誼才是最寶貴的。
