The Three Railway Engines is the first book in the famous “Railway Series" by Wilbert Awdry. In it he tells of Edward, Gordon andHenry who lived in the same shed and who were always boastingand quarrelling amongst themselves until, after a series ofadventures, they found that it is best to be good friends and to help each other.
